Terms of Service

Direceipt is in a private pilot and not yet generally available. These terms apply to anyone given early access.

The service

Direceipt connects your QuickBooks Online company and the email mailboxes you authorize, identifies purchase transactions with no receipt attached, searches for matching receipts, and attaches an approved receipt to the transaction.

Your accounts and your data

You must have the right to connect the accounts you connect, and to authorize access to the mailboxes you authorize. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your accounting records; QuickBooks is the system of record. Direceipt attaches receipts to transactions; fills empty fields of a transaction it attaches a receipt to, only for the fields an administrator of your organization has turned on and never on a reconciled transaction; and creates a transaction, or changes its category or memo, only when you direct it to. It never deletes a transaction. The privacy policy lists exactly what it changes.

You own your data. We process it only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.

You review what is attached

Direceipt proposes candidate receipts and shows why each matched. If an administrator of your organization turns on automatic approval, it attaches a receipt without waiting for a person, and only when the amount, date, merchant, and payment card all agree. Every attachment, automatic or approved, is listed in the activity log and can be undone. You are responsible for reviewing proposals before approving them and for checking automatic attachments.

Not accounting or tax advice

Direceipt is software for organizing records. It is not accounting, audit, or tax advice, and it does not determine what your jurisdiction requires you to retain. Consult your accountant.

Availability during the pilot

During the pilot the service may change, be interrupted, or be withdrawn without notice, and is provided without warranty of any kind to the extent permitted by law.

Ending access

You may disconnect any connected account at any time, which revokes its credentials and stops synchronization. You may request deletion of your stored content by writing to privacy@direceipt.ai.
